My dog decided it was a good idea to run around in the rain, he looks so happy with himself!

At first I got angry and told him off, because he might get sick so I was worried, but he just ignored me…

So I then told him, he won’t get fed if he keeps behaving in this way, but all he could think about was the food and just licked his lips.

I told him, look I am serious no food for you… and then he gave me his sad look, meaning ok I’m sorry.

But then being all cheeky… he looked at me and said, I know you will feed me, because you love me.

And well he is right! How could you not love someone who has a face like this? I am so lucky to have him; he is such a good boy… well most of the time.

With university graduation coming soon, about 5 weeks away, I have been left with many options at my disposal. So many options in fact that I have no idea (as usual) what path I should take, so I have rumbled through what lay before me (and done a little research) I now put forth a list of what seem feasible.

I have created a poll, and hope that you will vote me in the direction you see fit, the outcome I will consider my fate (unless something else happens). This is exciting, yet kind of typical of me, just rolling with the punches into what seems like the inevitable but ultimately best path.

My sister always tells me I live the dream, she is a little jealous of my impeccable luck, things just fall into my lap she says. I just to do what I feel is right, seemingly it would look as though without thinking. I do admit, my life is like a bunch of monks riding a roller coaster!!

Well I do keep my options…. let’s say vulnerable, are open to change and are highly adaptable at a moment’s notice. I do lead an unpredictable life but it is enjoyable and somewhat exciting. At the same time once I make a decision I stick to it, and try much effort to keep the choice going until it collapses. At this point, because my mind and eyes are always wide open and looking, I tend to see the next bit of luck rolling my way. Upon which time it would look as though it falls in my lap.

Now this does take effort and some amount of skill but from outside you will not see.

It is so strange how things work out, many people plan and plan to the point of collapse, however when that happens they are not ready for change and are lost and have no direction thus just stand there lost and bewildered that the plan did not work.

So the options I have narrowed down, in no specific order, are:

1. Find a job here in Australia, something media related (typically highly competitive).

2. Work in America, hopefully media related, I have found that I can get a one year working visa on completion of my degree.

3. Teach English in China.

4. Teach English in Korea.

5. Teach English in Vietnam.

6. Teach English in Japan.

7. Start a business (this would be tough, but I do have a few ideas worth pitching).

How compelling, I decided to look at my star sign today (thanks Jonathan Cainer), as irrational people do… and well it is very fitting to a current situation that is playing out. I do believe a good outcome is plausible (I would love a good outcome) but it is inevitable that the ally is unwilling. This is very unfortunate as I have my whole heart and soul to offer.

You don’t see a tooth paste tube squeezing itself for it cannot, just like me; I need another who can see and knows (like me) what is inside. One must look after the tube and not stand on it or be irresponsible; otherwise the tube will be gone out of your hands, it will slip into another’s, being lost from the careless owner. He who has adequate dexterity, who is just as intelligent and smart enough to see what the tube holds, will be the only one whom can put it to use in its full potential.

Only then can everything within become a fortune in its making.

He who is foolish cannot see nor care; they only feel frustrations and anger, due to their lack of skill to wield the tube of toothpaste. The foolish only end up with nothing but a large hole, a yearning desire for something they can never understand but wish they could.

Sometimes the foolish can only see themselves and nothing else….

It was a large project that we both loved, it took a lot of time and effort to collaborate and coordinate eat session, in the end it was really worth it. We learnt many things along the way such as team work, organisation skills, culture and diverse communications skills for cross cultural communication.

Today I decided to go to a little Italian or possibly Greek deli, I am not sure as I am not a custom to either culture. But I can tell you now, they make a Bad Ass french baguette…

I think it was the combination of the fresh deli food stuffs and the awesomeness of the fresh french baguette. Talk about cultures working together to get a better outcome, well this is it and judgment is in! It works wonders, and the proof is in the eating.

See what a little patients and understanding of each other can lead to. Of course there can be miss understandings, but hay that is why you need patient so that you can give the other or your self more time to explain what you mean or in a way that the other party will understand the true meaning and so on.

I only wish that this cultural understanding of different societies would spread past food and into our cultural society itself. As it would spread knowledge,  furthermore it would expand the world beyond measures that we know today and make it more harmonious. Just imagine what the human race could achieve if we worked together and not against one another.

Just a little food for thought…
